Why are Radio Jingles so Important?

Radio Jingles are so important because it makes the radio more entertaining and memorable for the listeners. If we listened to the radio without any jingles then the listeners would soon lose concentration and become bored very quick.

What is a radio jingle?

A radio jingle can count as all types of advertising. It advertises products, show promos, competitions / events, station idents and news; they are generally fun and short, the longest that a normal radio jingle lasts is, maximum, 2mins, but they can be a short as 10secs. They make the radio station sound professional and exciting for the listeners.

- Sounds professional and fun
